Great Escape Inn

These aholes kept my deposit for a cancelation for the 4th of July. Please, I cancelled a week ahead. Because of Covid19 the beach, pool, bars and restaurants will be closed. They should have some consideration. I will NEVER recommend them. There are plenty of hotels in Lauderdale by the Sea.

Our first time and not our last. Room was surprisingly very good . Only 5 minutes from Sea Ranch plaza with Publix, First Watch cafe ,CVS and Onion Roll deli- must try! Highly recommended.

Horrible!!! Stay away! There was a party-outside near our door, after midnight. the next morning we complained to the front desk and they said there’s no cancellation and they could move us but there’d be an extra charge of $257 would never ever stay there again! Hotel is from the 50s and nothing has been updated!!

Great place, very clean, but the room we were in needs new mattresses.

This was my second time staying here and, for the price, you can’t beat this place. It is a no nonsense simple place in a good location. It is right by the beach and has several restaurant/bars within several blocks. About 10 minutes driving time from Funky Buddha brewery. Outdoor pool is the only amenity. Housekeeping does a great job of keeping this place clean. The rooms I stayed in both times were very clean. You can tell it’s an “aged” location but that doesn’t bother me. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place that is nice and clean, you should definitely check this place out.
