Plunge Beach Resort

Very friendly staff. The hotel was clean and in good repair (expect one of the two elevators kept breaking down). The room simple but nice. The be was comfortable. The beach was very nice and clean with umbrellas and lounge chairs. The beach restaurant and bar were ok. There was no coffee in the room or at the front desk. However, there is a Starbucks in the lobby but $$. There was no microwave in the rooms or available for guest use; they would provide one for your room for $20/day. We would stay there again.

Excellent hotel with spacious rooms. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Right on the beach, and just a short walk to food, bars and nightlife. My room was very clean. The bed and furniture was comfortable which is big for me. I hate going to hotels with cheap pillows and lumpy mattresses. Not here though, I slept like a baby, and really enjoyed my time here.

Fantastic Resort, Great Location, and Extremely Helpful & Friendly Staff!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Plunge Beach Resort and had an amazing experience! Our days started at the coffee shop where the friendly staff served the best nitro coffee and breakfast sandwiches! Then we would head to the beach where Miguel would hand us a complementary beach towel and set us up with an umbrella and beach chairs (he’s one of the best)! The bar tenders at the beach bar were helpful and had fantastic drinks and food (highly recommend both). Then we would use their gym or shuffle boards in the evening. We didn’t get a rental car (and it isn’t really needed) because there’s a grocery store across the street and a fantastic Mexican restaurant and many shops walking distance. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and everything was clean. You do have a fridge too. We highly recommend this resort if you want to go to a place that’s close to everything and also has extremely helpful and friendly staff!

Such a wonderful little quaint resort. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the amenities are just right for what you need for a stay on the beach. We had an ocean front room, and was able to walk out our back door to the beach. I have never stayed at an oceanfront room before, and I will say it is an amazing experience! We are planning on staying here the next time we visit Florida. A perfect getaway from the winter storms we are experiencing!

The rooms were renovated, the decor was trendy, and the room and hotel was exceptionally clean. But the standard room doesn’t even have a microwave , no coffee machine and a very small mini fridge. Not all rooms have a view and most don’t have a balcony. There is not even a small table and chair. The bed is decently comfortable but not the greatest. We had An adjoining room and we could hear EVERYTHING next door; thankfully our neighbors were in bed early. The cleaning staff only comes every 3rd day. The pool is basic but super heated. There is a $30 a day resort fee which is very steep considering the amenities offered. They will give you beach lounges and an umbrella. It also included bicycles and parking, however you could rent a bike for much less in town. The staff at the beach are the best, everyone who works here was friendly and hospitable. ESPECIALLY the beach crew, they are great. Location is great. I would definitely not hesitate to stay here if there weren’t many other options because overall you will enjoy your stay. But be sure to get a room that is not adjoining, or get a suite.
