Floranada Elementary School

Went there all six years and volunteered there again last year. A very well run school with excellent staff. If there are any bad reviews then there must be something wrong. Your child will thrive here.

Horrible school. Very stiff. Administrators are so rude and disrespectful. They don’t smile or welcome you. Without asking me any questions or even knowing my name, one lady had the nerve to lecture me about my daughter being tardy one day when i came in to sign her in. I learned later that My daughter really disliked the school as well, she was always scared to make any mistake or even speak there. From the drop off to pick up, you don’t feel enough positive energy. There were few teachers and aftercare staff that were nice. But this school needs work. Or maybe a personality change.

The school as a whole is great. Teachers and staff are nice. My daughter seems to love going to school. No issues. The only problem and annoyance is the pick up and drop off. You are in line in the morning for 15 minutes and still somehow end up being “late” trying to drop your kid off in the front of the school. And if the bell rings at 8am you have to get out of your car and go sign your child in. But we were on time in the first place! It is unfair and a nuisance.

What the Principal brings, you just can’t teach that in college! Getting our reassignment to this school was like hitting the jackpot. Best PTA of any school out there.

A great community. After going to the school since kindergarten I have enjoyed every year. It also has very active parents.
