The Guild – Urban Craft & Folk Art School

The Guild was by far one of the most unique experiences my wife and I have encountered. Shawn and Sylvia are genuinely passionate about their classes and their desire to teach different genres of sustainability. You will not feel as of it was a simple business transaction, but rather a refreshing awakening as to how capable humankind is. We will absolutely be back and look forward to not only learning BUT also investing more time with such genuinely passionate people.

My wife brought me to the forging session for Valentines Day and we had a blast. The husband and wife instructors/owners were amazing. They explained everything thoroughly, helped us refine our project, and were just really hands on with us. We forged metal hearts out of two small blocks and they came out beautifully. We will definitely be going back for some of the other classes they hold. Since my wife took me to forge metal it looks like I’ll be going back with her to make soap, sounds interesting. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thanks for Amazon experience

Great experience at The Guild. Everyone from owners to instructors were extremely nice and all the knowledge was easy to grasp.

I’ve been here twice already, one for a welding course and the other for a couples date night as we made cool and functional theme based (Halloween skulls) bottle openers. No doubt that the experience was only amplified because of the owners, mentors and educators Shawn and Sylvia. An amazing experience that both my husband and I want to go back for additional workshops. And there are so many to choose from, it really is exciting.It was also a wonderful time because of the crowd and the storytelling after the workshop was over. Overall I feel it is a must do date night for all!

Jessica was an excellent teacher! Me and my girlfriend attended the 7 pm class which was one of the harder classes. It was just us three. We had an amazing time and the music was on point. Definitely recommend attending a class at this location.
