The poor linesman was working so hard to look after me and another jet aircraft. Good job though. Very cheap fuel…. Excellent service. A very good option to consider at FXE compared to Banyon which is also a good FBO.

I saw all the reviews and the fuel prices enroute to FXE on Foreflight, and decided to overnight there a couple nights.

Fuel price is good, but they charge $55/nt for a C172! They do waive the fee the first night, but here is a comparison for you;

Banyan across the field told me that if I took on a min of 10 gallons, he’d waive the first TWO nights, and that it would be $30/nt thereafter. A difference of $25/nt.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of the FBO manager, Leon, and despite leaving messages, he can’t be reached.

UPDATE: I went this morning to reposition plane to Banyan. The very nice lineman relayed my concerns to Sophie, and she waived my 2nd day and only charged me for the 20 gallons of fuel.

That is FANTASTIC customer service! Leon, take a lesson from this lady.

No happy with the practitioner who saw my bird. She is NOT patient AT ALL and got frustrated when I told her I didn’t really understand what she was trying to say. Her answer was “ just forget it@ LOL… really???? Hate my experience there. NEVER went back.
