BEWARE – EMOTIONAL AND LAZY.

Les Byron of Sperry Van Ness was a listing realtor for our commercial property (warehouse) in 2015-2016. He was doing a very non-proactive job, including taking very poor photos of the property and showing other signs of laziness. We ended up redoing photos ourselves and letting Les use those. A couple of months into this realtor/ client collaboration my husband and him had a conversation via text discussing ways to get the property sold. Out of the blue Les got unprofessional, personal, and completely OFF SUBJECT, writing, “Listen, I don’t care how many ex wives you have or how many sports cars you drive, …….” My husband was understandably furious and wanted to fire him immediately, and it took me much effort to convince him to suck it up for at least 6 more months so we don’t spook this emotional man in case whatever was already in the works would pan out as a sale. We set a reminder for 6 months later to lay into Les about his unprofessional commentary then! A few months later an interested buyer and buyer’s realtor found our property and ended up buying it, so one could say Les sort of came through in the end and sort of performed his realtor duties.
