Pomperdale – A New York Deli

Horrible! Food is sub par and the lady with dark hair and pony tail is very rude. Do not go here! The German deli and bakery just down the street is much better and the service wonderful..

Was not what I expected, sandwiches were overpriced and customer service was poor. They were actually discussing a wrong order as I was waiting. No greeting and then finally a can I help you. I didn’t feel the great reviews that were posted by previous customers.

Food is great, no complaints. However, customer service is awful, I tried warning my cashier of dairy allergy and she did not take note just because the sandwich did not come with cheese and asked if I wanted mayo or not (a product that does not contain dairy). Besides being uninformed, she completely disregarded the fact that cross contamination exists, and could kill someone. Besides this incident cashiers have been rude almost every time I visited.

I waited nearly 20 minutes for an order of pancakes. I took one bite. Not sure what the issue was, but they tasted exactly like cornbread. They did apologize and gave us a $5 gift certificate. If I end using it I will just have coffee. Their coffee was good.

Deli made veggie cream cheese, the best! Got there later in the day so only had two choices of bagels. 😒 Who knew?!? Pastrami is stacked high and has good flavor. Willing to go back to try other selections. 👍👍
