Dr. Paul Lapco, ENT

I am super late writing this review, about 2 years late. I went to Dr lapco for nasal polyp concerns, he is very knowledgeable and confident in his craft. He made me feel very comfortable during the inpatient polyp removal procedure, and tried to be as gentle as possible during. They do provide an instruction sheet after the procedure, this is to ensure proper healing.

I only have one piece of feedback based on my experience, It is to ensure that outpatients fully understand the instructions mentioned on the post procedure sheet for healing(can’t remember the actual name of the sheet provided). One line of instruction mentions to use nasal saline, however it failed to mention not to use something like a Neti pot which may possibly open up the wound due to excess pressure. After rinsing on a daily basis with my Neti pot I started to get severe nosebleeds. One day after rinsing, the bleeding would not stop for almost 30 minutes and was flowing as if I had used a blood thinner, this of course scared the hell out of me. I called 911 out of fear of losing too much blood, but thankfully I got it under control once the paramedics arrived. I called the office immediately after and explained what had occurred, they took me without an appointment and brought me right into the chair to evaluate. After I explained that I’ve been using my Neti pot to rinse, the immediate response was NOT to use a Neti Pot.

There were no more nosebleeds after the fact, and they gave me the proper saline wash to use, which are the same small bottles of saline that you would use for an infant. The bottom line is the overall experience was great, and even when there was a concern it was handled in the most professional manner without blaming the customer. Please be sure to add a note on the sheet so that patients will not have to learn the hard way like I did.

Excellent Doctor and outstanding staff. I called and Natalie gave me an appointment for the same week. The staff Cindy, Paola, Patricia, Trisha, Debbie and Jackie gave a 1st class attention. The Doctor was very attentive and professional, he knows what he is doing. Most of the staff and the Doctor speaks fluent Spanish and English. Please do not pay attention to the bad reviews, you can tell they are unfounded and hateful. Thank you!

I was between two major surgeries when I developed an ear infection. The excruciating pain and pressure was unbearable. Dr. Lapco’s amazing staff got me in the same day I called and even helped me fill out my paperwork when I arrived. He listened to my concerns and came up with a treatment plan. I was better the next day. Went back for a follow up appointment today and was just as impressed with the kindness of the staff, punctuality and professionalism of the doctor and felt they did a great job following COVID protocols. Highly recommend!

Stay away!! They just out there to bill your insurance. Lapco only wants to do balloon sinuplasty at the office. He will definitely send you to an allergy test to be able to get more money. Don’t trust them your health. Most reviews are probably fake. If you looking for a really good doctor go to dr Nathan Nachlas.

Dr. Lapco was great!!! Highly recommend him for any and all your sinus symptoms! He is very thorough in his way of practicing medicine. I can’t thank him enough for taking care of my sinuses! Also, his staff is top notch! Keep up the great work there isn’t many well ran practices like his anymore!! He is outstanding!!!
