Broward Health Imperial Point: Emergency Room

Had pretty good care there aside from being referred to the wrong specialist for follow up. One thing that really bothered me is that google maps kept taking me to the ambulance entrance that I couldn’t get into. It was through a neighborhood full of speed bumps which was a nightmare with my stomach pain. I’ll try change the direction to send people from Access Drive but maybe somebody can check this out too. Thank you!

I recently sustained a foot laceration preparing for Hurricane Dorian and presented at Broward Imperial Point ER for care. The entire experience was very positive from reception, to intake with the nurse for history, to treatment and receiving written discharge recommendations. John Marin, PA sutured the wound expertly after carefully anesthetizing, so there was no pain. His calm demeanor and good communication added to the positive experience. The entire process was efficient and I was on my way home within one hour.

My husband scraped his cornea while preparing for Hurricane Dorian. We went to Imperial Point Emergency Room around 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2nd. The folks on duty during the Labor Day Holiday and the oncoming storm were just great. They immediately jumped into action, and had us in and out in about 1 hour. They were professional and most of all concerned and caring.
