Pollo Tropical

I’m sure this will go completely ignored by the management and/or owner of this restaurant but allow me to indulge myself…

This place is a mess.

Why bother to list a 10:30 opening time when you have absolutely no intention of being able to serve customers at this time. Presently it is 10:35 and the people working on February 24, 2021 have informed the drive through line (which is increasing) that they haven’t even opened the register yet and will not be ready to serve for some time. Who knows how long we’ll wait… I’ll make sure to update this when we find out!

Absolute joke… and you wonder why the rest of the world looks at us and shakes their head.

(It took 12 minutes for them to figure out how to start taking orders)

An absolute disgrace. Waited 40 minutes in the drive through. Wasted my whole lunch. Finally get my food and go back to work, and its not even my food! The girl at the window even verified my order when she took my money, but somehow I got the wrong order. Just terrible. I should have saved my time and money and stayed at work.

I show up to boil at 10:28 p.m. and they tell me that they don’t have anything. All they have is half chicken white rice and beans. I don’t have sandwiches they don’t have anything personally I feel like they were just being lazy because it was close to closing and they didn’t want to have to make something. The service was polite but the fact that they were all sitting and being lazy and there I’m pretty upsetting because we really wanted specific things. They were still open with more than enough time to make stuff. When I pulled up to the window you had three employees just sitting back on the stovetop and food area relaxing and laughing at the fact that I was upset over not being able to get the food I wanted and my son wanted.

The food is good some times the staff is not as friendly. Customer service needs work far as communication in order to get customers in and out in a more efficient manner. Inside is clean the out side drive thur can be alarming!!! When go to place your order in the drive thur, people are hanging around walking up asking for money!!!😖👀

I would have to agree and say this is the worst Pollo tropical in Florida. I only come here because I love the food and it’s close to my job but the staff here is terrible. Today it was pouring outside so you could not hear from the drive-through everyone was pulling up to the window. At the window there was no one there employees were walking by and they paid no attention As I sat there literally for seven minutes. There were probably only five people in the dining room. This will be the last time I order from this place. District manager you need to fire everyone including the manager. This place gives a bad name to Pollo tropical.
