Land Rover Fort Lauderdale

I had a very specific make and model and Peter Penaherrera at this dealership was the only one in the SE Florida region that found it. Persistence, integrity and high quality customer service. I am extremely satisfied and impressed. I wrote my original review 3 years ago. Update, the service department at Land Rover Fort Lauderdale is very unprofessional, does not return calls and seems overwhelmed. The quality of service I receive and the 3 other car brand dealerships that I frequent are far superior to LR. Great car but bad service. What a shame.

My purchase experience was a good one, but the service department is by far the worse I’ve ever experienced including non premium brands. I made an appointment for something as simple as an oil change, I had to wait 2 weeks, god forgives is something else and you need a loaner, you’ll have to wait 4 weeks or be happy with a ride home or arrange your own transportation.
When it was time to change the oil, they wanted over $800 to do the service , I said I only need oil and oil filter change that’s it, the charge for that was $250 and they said they wouldn’t reset the service engine message, really?? you pay $250 to change the oil and they refuse to delete the CHANGE OIL message, really????, they finally did it after I had to complain hard and told them I know how to do it myself.
Once I am done with this vehicle, I will NEVER buy a Range Rover EVER again, just so I don’t have to deal with their service practices again.
If you market your brand as a premium one as Land Rover does, at least offer some decent service specially when being a Land Rover, you WILL need service sooner than later.

Worse experience ever service department is awful, call to make an appointment for urgent matter and the person in charge was extremely rude and toll me no appointments were available for the next 2 weeks. I will never get a car from this dealership again
Coming from Having a Porsche will fantastic maintenance and great response to clients matters, I thought that Land Rover was going to be the same or better, completely disappointed
