I booked at trip with Ken Miller through my boyfriends friend as a referral. After booking a trip to Mexico two years ago I decided to use him again. I asked him for high end all-inclusive experience. He came back with a recommendation of Sandals Jamaica. I booked the Honeymoon suite and packed my bags. We were promised ocean front and a memorable experience. I stayed at Sandals before and did have a wonderful experience I was hoping for the same. I should have stayed with my previous travel agent. However, I was advised by Ken Miller that I should not book ammenites or butler bc it was a given with the Honeymoon experience. To put it mildly this experience was the worst trip ever. Ken told me this was the number 1 resort in the Caribbean. Which he continued to repeat over and over. When I am telling my agent that I had a bad experience, I want to hear, I’m sorry… not this is the number 1 resort. Apparently at Sandals there are many different categories. We thought that by being in a honeymoon suite we were in a top category as per our conversation. We were not & Ken seemed to have no idea about it. How could this be with over 20 years of experience? We had a garden view overlooking the gift shop. When we called for room service they said we are not in the right category. How could this be at a Sandals all-inclusive? We called Ken while there to help us. He was unable to give us any discount or any extra support. All extra givebacks were Me advocating working with the manager and general manager. Upon our arrival home, we told Ken about our experience he said he would get back to us to make this right which he never did. He never apologized nor seemed to care. How could Ken not know this after being in business for 29 years? How could he recommend this knowing what we were looking for. If you are looking for a vacation look elsewhere, if things go wrong you are totally on your own with Ken.
