Really good italian deli. Mac salad and fried eggplant are stand outs. Any sandwich will do.

The food is always fresh, delicious, sandwiches & salads made to order. Homemade Italian food is outstanding! Service is always great and fun! I had an especially amazing experience the other day. I called to order a few things and explained that I was calling from my car, was parked in front of Bella Monte. I advised that I had my dog with me so, I was trying to minimize the time I’d have to leave him in my car. If they could give me a time, I’d run in to pick-up and pay for my order so the car wouldn’t get too hot for my dog. The lady was very funny (as usual), told me when to come in to get my order. Next thing I know, she is knocking on my car window with my order!!! I had exact change so it worked out so perfectly!! What a super kind gesture! I was overwhelmed with her care and consideration!

A spacially good sized store with an impressive selection of everything Italian food takes to make, or ready made, or all the condiments and ingredients that go into everything from lavish anti-pasti, to intricate sauces or meat concoctions, to the savory dessert favorites.

It’s been here in Pompano, just a couple of blocks west of the Intracoastal bridge on the south side of Atlantic Blvd, seems like the better part of my life, and I’m 73.

They separate themselves from other lesser Italian delis and stores by providing a selection of the finest available imported from Italy brands, along side domestic and Canadian popular brands, as well as store prepared and specialist prepared sauces, cheeses, pastas, meats, and veggies which are totally unique to this store.

Visit when you’re hungry and you’ll go home with lots of stuff. I usually go in with a short list to avoid over buying more than I use, since most everything that’s not canned or bottled or frozen is fresh.
They also have a large assortment of wines, imported waters, and olive oils and vinegars, if you are tired of the same few selections at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Publix.
Worth the trip, and a great place to support local family businesses that have survived our turbulent generation’s challenges for many decades.

First and foremost the food was outstanding. We had an antipasto platter, Sausage and Peppers and a large greek salad. The homemade sausages were some of the best I have ever had. We had ordered the food a few days prior and there was a bit of a mix up on the date, but the owner went way beyond expectations to prepare all of the food in 45 minutes before he closed and he also stayed late to fix our food. Service like this is hard to find in today’s world. We truly appreciate the Herculean effort to complete our order on short notice

The only store with pastene!! The people who work there are very patient and will help with any suggestions! Very personable and have the “family owned business vibe” will definitely return here!
