Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County

I went to this club all my life. I’ve made memorable friends and learned a lot with my experiences with the older kids during my adolescent years. If you want your child to get involved in their community and meet local children after school or during the summer, I heavily recommend the Boys & Girls club, specifically this one.

Very awesome with child interaction. Professional service and care. Communication with parents is great as well.

This facility needs to trained and educate the staff on how to deal with the kids in a appropriate and respectful manner . While picking up my son at the camp today , the front desk personnel called my son 3 times over the intercom to report to the front desk . I saw her left the desk with and attitude proceed to go get my son from the games room .

While waiting at the front desk I heard a loud yelling screaming so I proceed to where that noise was coming from , to my surprise I saw her walking out of the games room with my son behind her . She open the door and eventually started yelling at my son again in the hallway.

Right away I saw a gentle man in a blue shirt and I ask if the administration was available . I address the issue with him and clearly told him it’s unacceptable of the behavior of the staff and I do not wish for anyone to yell and disrespect my son like that .

Told him I’m requesting a incident report of what happen and I will proceed to take all necessary actions of this verbal abuse displayed today .

This issue will be reported and must be addressed that no other kid will go through this behavior.

I HATE THIS PLACE IT NEEDS TO BE DEMOLISHED ITS A WASTE OF TIME GHETTO STAFF AND IT’S BAD I GAVE IT A 1 RATING BRCAUSE THEY HAVE FIGHTS MY SISTER WAS SENT HOME BECAYBE THEY ACCUSED HER OF FIGHTING BUT SHE RAN TO MY AREA AND CRIED BEFORE THEY SENT HER HOME GET THIS DEPORTED AND GET BETTER STAFF MEMBERS ITS LIKE POMPANO MARKLE SCHOOL IT NEEDS TO BE DEPORTED AS WELL NOW MY SISTER IS EXSPELLED FOR SOMETHING THAT SHE DIDN’T DO SO THE CITY OF NORTH Lauderdale NEEDS SOME HELP

The only reason for a one star rating from me is that the young lady at the front desk constantly has the worst attitude. Besides that, they’re ok. If they stepped up and hired a skilled person who knew how to relate to parents and children, they could be great.
