Broward Builders

Contracted Broward Builders in May 2019, house was promised July 2020. January 1, 2021 came around and still far from complete. The timeline we were given was never adhered to, the penalty payment of $100 per day beginning August 14th to be paid every Friday, has not once been paid to us. Money was given early than required to pay for specific items (plumbing fixtures, interior doors, driveway) and they were not delivered, or the incorrect ones that were installed. One of the subs personally told us that he was never paid and checks from Broward Builders bounced, even though we specifically paid for that service to Broward Builders. We approved bathroom and kitchen designs, but completely different designs were installed in our custom home. Phone calls, e-mails, and texts are ignored. There are countless lies and empty promises. We have since fired Broward Builders and now have to piece together the mess that they created in our family home. There were many red flags along the way, we should have cut our loses at an earlier stage.

Had I done a full scope of work with this company I am sure the rating would have been 5 Stars. I met with them for a potential job for a home remodel. Extremely organized and really just a nice guy. (Met with Daniel) Unfortunately, as my client was ready to sign the retainer, I stopped hearing from Daniel, with no reason. I understand completely if they just weren’t interested in the job, and that’s ok! However, a lot of professionalism and respect comes with being able to communicate. I could have started looking for someone else far sooner, and it has created issues in my professional life. Major bummer, communication is key!

I bought a condo in Fort Lauderdale which required considerable upgrading. I was fortunate with being introduced to the Chief Executive Officer of Broward Builders whose organisation carried out the complete project I cannot emphasise enough the attention to detail shown by this firm. I also had contact at all times and was kept informed regularly with progress. If you are looking for high-end professionalism and guaranteed satisfaction look no further than Broward Builders.. I am thankful I did.
