When I turned on my heater last month, it was making this loud, clanging noise and I decided to record it for the technician to hear as the noise was unusual and wasn’t consistent. I called a previous a/c company and the tech couldn’t figure it out – even had him listen to the recording. He checked it and found nothing. Granted the tech didn’t take the time to take the unit apart to actually see what the issue was.

This morning at 4:30am I woke up to the horrible clanging noise. Frustrated, I recorded the noise again and called Engineered Air (the company that installed the unit). The technician, Greg (ID 4756), came and listened to our concerns and also the recording. He too was puzzled at the noise. He decided to take the unit apart to get to the bottom of the issue. He discovered what was making the clanging noise and corrected the problem. He then explained what was causing the racket. Greg was very professional and thorough and I highly recommend using EA – great service at a very reasonable price!

I have never seen such a first class clean and professional a/c system in my 60 years of life. they really know what their doing and how to do it!

Engineered Air put me in contact with Sean about purchasing a new unit. While our AC was out he was generous enough to offer us his portable AC unit while we waited for the new unit to arrive. He’s knowledge, responsive and fair which is what we all hope for when looking at making a big purchase.

Life and Game Changer!

After 11 years of our underperforming builder-grade AC unit, which had never been up to the task of cooling our entire house, the unit was beyond repair and what better day to find that out than a 93 degree day in South Florida!? We called EA for emergency service and they were able to send Andrew to us, same day, earlier than anticipated within the window and the experience just got better with each day forward. Andrew was professional, kind, patient and took ample time to explain why we would need to replace our unit, rather than repair. The unit died on Thursday, we spoke with Sean in Sales that evening, he met with us first thing Friday morning, giving us the ample time we needed to decide upon which new unit we wanted and to answer every question we posed. After analyzing our space and how we use different rooms, Sean advised that we choose a unit with a premium inverter. After a short deliberation, we decided to go with Sean’s recommendation and scheduled installation of our new unit just after the weekend on the following Monday. The installation crew was comprised of three fantastic gentlemen, Tony and Ozzy, as well as James, the Installation Manager. Not only were they on time for the installation, they were 40 minutes early! Unheard of! Tony and Ozzy were meticulous in their approach to removing the old unit, installing the new and making sure they treated our home with care and caution, not marking up the walls or being careless with their movements. Much to our surprise, Sean came back during the installation to help and followed up with us after the installation to ensure our satisfaction. Our old unit was no match for our square footage and floor plan; two bedrooms over our garage were always hot, never enjoyable and now for the first time ever, the ENTIRE house has a consistent, comfortable temperature. Our minds are blown every time we walk into the rooms that used to be referred to as “the desert.” Sean and the entire team from Engineered Air really came through for us, including Sheila in the office, helping to get our appointments squared away and handling things on her end in a most efficient and pleasant manner. We could not be more grateful to everyone involved in making our home a sanctuary and the level of service and care that was administered made a lasting impression on us and we will continue to use and refer the services of Engineered Air to everyone we know.
