Worst family dollar I’ve ever visited. One cashier and at least 15 people in line! Store is never clean and freight everywhere

Very slow business but I only make quick stops for snacks and ice cream. It is always crowded but there should be more cashiers. There is one good cashier there though but DO BETTER.

Yesterday July 29, 2020 I went to this location out of convenience. Of course this store is always filthy, but I was pressed for time and needed some items. I spent 65.00 in this place, only for the cashier whom was an older woman scanned all of my items before bagging anything mind you I had over 50 items plus 16 pack of toilet paper, which she tossed on the ground. I couldn’t believe this lady was so INCOMPETENT and uncomfortable to be around. Although, we must wear masks I could see her facial expression based on her eyes and she obviously angry. Maybe because I had several items, but so what this is a retail establishment, if consumers don’t spend how will she have a paycheck generated for her? This was by far the WORST experience, boxes and crates all over the place, can never get what you need. The carts are always dirty and I’m so over FAMILY DOLLAR at this point! Oh! She also left the tag sensor on a TSHIRT that I purchased, didn’t realize until I got home to wash it and low and behold the magnetic tag. Also, I failed to mention all of my items were damn near bent, my bread was smushed up, I needed cash back she just left the cash drawer open until it started beeping frantically. The other cashier ended up giving me the cash, but initially the rude cashier told her I was taking 50.00 cash back when it was only 25.00 so if i would have been nasty like her, i could have walked away with 50.00 and her register would have been short. But I’m not an incompetent person.

Compared to some of their other stores, this is one is clean, arranged and neat. I made a mistake for some items at checkout and the cashier needed to void the transactions and restart. It was done with a smile and assistance!

We were at the checkout with two little kids that were tired and sleepy. My husband ran over to get something that we forgot and accidently knocked down two little items. He did not realize he dropped the items on the floor. The cashier made my husband go back and pick it up. There were two cashier at the counter doing nothing. The customer service sucks. There are two lazy and rude females that work there. Will never shop there again. They need to get up and work. Must be nice to get paid for making customers work.
