Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach

My mother lived at The Pompano Beach location for 3 1/2 years. There is a long list of reasons that she recently moved into another independent living apartment nearby. To start, the parking is impossible, very limited parking and this was a concern prior to deciding to sign the lease. Transportation service commonly does not run smoothly. Often, “short a driver,” or “a car issue.” This creates a long wait for a return ride home. Often over and hour. The building is not well maintained, it is apparent as you walk into the building. The seating outside is stained and the side tables are sticky, garbage can always full and smelly. The food has been good overall. But, the servers are allowed to have very long fingernails. There are more concerns, it was time for my mom to move. She deserved better. Look at many places before settling, there are better, well run places nearby. We all wish we had moved my Mother out sooner. Also, and lastly, we were forced to use Broward Movers and storage for the move out as they were the only company allowed for move outs or move ins. They were very expensive and very unprofessional. I wish I had seen reviews for this place prior to moving my mother in, it has been a huge disappointment.

My father lived at Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach until he passed away at the age of 95 in December, 2019. My family could not have wished for a better place for him to be for his last remaining time. He was surrounded by an awesome staff who were kind, compassionate and competent people you would want a loved one to be with.

Five Star is a top quality operation. Clean and efficient is their trademark and if you are looking for a place to care for a loved one, I would highly recommend Five Star Premier of Pompano Beach. Truly a first rate establishment.

My father in law lived here for three years, up until the day he passed. We could not have chosen a better place for his final years! Five Star met every expectation with the quality of food, cleanliness of the building, professionalism of the management, and compassion of the staff. He always felt as if his opinion mattered, and we were convinced Five Star not only added to his quality of life, but extended it as well. It is in a fabulous location, with spectacular views from most apartments, and certainly from the dining room. We, as family, always felt welcome, and would highly recommend Five Star to anyone.

My father lived at Five Star in Pompano Beach for three years until he passed away at the age of 98 in March. I couldn’t have wished for a better place for him to be! He was surrounded by the kindest, most compassionate people you would ever want a loved one to be around. He enjoyed living there so much that after his first year, his cousin moved in to the building!

The food is delicious, and there’s always something to do – activities both in the building as well as “off campus.” The staff is exceptional and takes an interest in every one of the residents. And their families! I was always greeted warmly whenever I visited, and I’m happy to be able to continue to see everyone when I visit my cousin. It’s an amazing place, and I’m so happy I found it! We looked at a great many facilities, and this one was far and away the best!
