George S. Gerber Memorial Park

Great park to get out and have a breathe of fresh air. There are soccer fields, a baseball field, basketball court, playground, baseball field and volleyball area.

A walk around the perimeter of this park features the sound of the wind in the trees, birds chirping and people of all ages, genders and races enjoying the facilities. Dogs are tolerated as long as they are not on the fields and you pickup after them.

Excellent park. My daughters play soccer and softball at Gerber and my nephews played flag football. I also played men’s league soccer at Gerber.

This is a good park. Small but good. They closed because of CoVid but we come here again when it opens.

It has some nice equipment, but the park was recently touched up and they didn’t do a thorough job. The color of the ground that was replaced is uneven and there is what looks like dust on the equipment. The location is convenient for those of us living in the neighborhoods nearby and it’s a good place to walk around or exercise, but the park itself isn’t as nice as it used to be. The monkey bars are gone and most of the equipment is rather plain. I prefer the park near the township It’s a better playground than Gerber.
