Excellent service ! My boat runs better than ever !

Update 2021- my uncle was in the market for a boat. I referred him to Great Outboard for inspection. We had the pleasure of working with the owner Joel again. The reason why I went to this shop the last was because of its reputation of being honest and fair. He is still living up to that reputation. His diagnoses helped my uncle negotiate the price and his repair quote was (and most importantly) accurate and fair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

All Good Helped me find the generator I was looking for and shipped it out the same day. I will defiantly be back.

I live in Long Island, and after my power being out for a week from the last most recent storm, I searched the Northeast for a hard to find Honda EU7000IS inverter generator. Zero to be had. I called shops up and down the coast until I found Great Outboard. I checked them out, and the reviews were stellar. By some miracle he had the machine I wanted. Joel (owner) worked with me, gave me a great price, and handled all the shipping. I just received the unit in perfect condition. I was a teamster who loaded trucks, and know in what shape this could have arrived. Not even a scratch. I trusted Joel Santiago sight unseen from 1200 miles away with a very expensive purchase, and could not be happier. This guy is from the old school of doing business right. Awesome is how I would describe my experience with Great Outboard!
My past experiences with other mechanics have been pretty much expensive and terrible. After some research and asking around, someone recommend I talk to Joel at Great Outboard in Pompano. So I did… Couldn’t be happier with my results! He was very direct and honest in his approach to me. He explained everything to me and answered every question I had. The entire time I was consulted and kept informed on the progress of my repairs. Want to talk about honest? When I was handed the bill it was exactly what we had discussed with no surprises. WOW! Don’t see that very often. My boat runs awesome now! This guy is very passionate about what he does. I would rank him up there as a technical and mechanical genius.

Best place to bring your motor for any needs what so ever. Weather your having issues running, complete service, looking for a new Honda to be rigged on your boat, and all your generator needs. top of the line work never had any issues with the company and they are very direct 100% I will go back everyone knowing they will fix my problem the first time without throwing a bunch of parts and taking money out of my pocket
Best outboard mechanics shop hands down I recommend going here first every time hands down! Joel is the guy to talk to!
