Hartzell Painting & Waterproofing

I used Hartzell Painting to paint and remove the stone on the exterior of my home. During the stone removal, 2 shutter supports were removed and “hidden” under my front porch behind my plants so they were definitely and intentionally “placed” there (this is about 4 feet away from the windows they were on). I found them when doing my spring gardening. I contacted Chuck at Hartzell to come back to re-install and was told that shutters were not included in my contract. These are not shutters but supports that are affixed to my home. To paint them and reinstall them would not take much time as we are talking 4 screws in total; each support is about 2/12 feet in length. How long could this possibly take to corrrect/fix this problem? Note that all other shutter supports were painted so apparently they are included in the contract. In addition, they stuccoed over the holes so I can’t just replace them myself…..but should I really have to after paying them to do the job. They have left me at risk in the event of a bad storm or hurricane. I have asked twice for Chuck to have a manager call me and have received no response, In addition, there are paint splatters over my landscape rocks, on my driveway which they covered up with black spray paint and they broke the a/c condensation pipe on the outside of my house. Hartzell did send someone out to fix it. I would recommend finding another company!!

Excellent exterior painting work from start to finish by Hartzell, which appeared to be a full service company. No shortcuts, no rush jobs. Where as other painters would start painting immediately, Hartzell pressure cleaned the entire condo complex where I live. The precision and skillful painters went to work painting the next day using various paint application equipment and methods, each one best suited for the specific area of the building. Great attention to detail was demonstrated and was ongoing. What caught my attention, and was new to me, is that Hartzell actually appoints and retains a speck, spot and smudge remover crew member at all times on the job. As a result the complex was left spot free.

My condo community is using Hartzell for repainting, and they have done an excellent job. “Constantine Jr.,” the project manager, has especially been most helpful. Nicely done!

I cannot rave enough about the work that Hartzell has done for us in painting and giving new life to our shopping centers. They are so professional, so accommodating, so full of good insights and helpful advice…given that they’ve been in the business for 70 years…although I don’t think that the same painter that was up on a ladder then is still doing it today! They have learned a lot over that time and they pass it on to insure really high quality work, which they stand behind. What you do is important…who you do it with is just as important, so in addition to excellent work, they are staffed with excellent people who make the job such a pleasure for all.

Amazing experience with Hartzell, and with job manager Leo Citrangulo. They were professional, responsive, best price by far, and the work was done really well. Leo went above and beyond to make certain all the details were right, and that I was happy with everything. The painter Romeo was awesome too. I wish every business interaction was as enjoyable as this one. Keep up the great work.
