Receptionist is extremely rude. I did not want to leave a credit card on file with thierr office which I don’t do at any other my doctors office. I expected to pay my copay by credit card back t did not wish to leave my card on file. This was not communicated to be when I booked my appointment. I will find another doctor.

Our1st experience and it was outstanding from the staff to Dr Hecker. They are all very kind, helpfull and definitely caring. Great job!!! And thank you.

They have very shady billing practices. Mediocre bedside manner. BEWARE of “extra charges” that are not filed with insurance. And before you come back with your “we have no one by your name in our system,” this was for my husband’s appointment. You owe us $85.01. It was NEVER filed with Florida Blue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! The woman at the front desk is extremely abrasive, and they are making patients pay out of pocket for things they never file with the insurance.

Working w a facility that is associated with them im embarrassed. Luckily when guests ask what dermatologist I suggest I can tell them my experience here and let them decide. Told a procedure was fully covered and nothing due outside of co pay to find out they made a mistake and to bad so sad. No problem, lesson learned my mistake for trusting what I was told. I can only suggest others dont make the same misjudgment.

Hecker Dermatology is a wonderful office. From the outstanding doctors down to the office staff, the experience is first rate. Our most recent experience is a hand peel which my daughter received, which really made her hands look so lovely. It is obvious that Dr. Melanie, Dr. David, and the entire staff care deeply about the work they do to not only make skin look more beautiful, but when necessary, to give treatment for mole removal or skin cancers. This is absolutely the only dermatologist I would go to in the south Florida area.
