Holy Cross Medical Group Office of Anibal Loza, M.D.

Dr. Loza is homophobic! I and my husband are long patients of Holly Cross, never seeing any other doctors be rude or show their disrespect to our relationships. However, Dr. Loza thinks that there is no marriage between us. He persistently calls my husband a partner and mentions that the church doesn’t support it. I didn’t go to church, I went to a doctors office. You should learn some manners Dr. Loza before taking care of your patients.

This doctor is a SCAMMER! I was about to get my physical (which is free once a year with my insurance or $25 cal pays for regular visits). I was told that the doctor is booked and he can’t see me for two months (as always). They suggested seeing another doctor in their office. I agreed. How shocked I was when they mailed to me a bill for $45 which I pay only when I visit a specialist. Remember the visit had to be free. In the worst-case $25 for seeing a physician. That’s because doctors they suggested was a specialist. First, no one told me that when they were offering me that doctor. The second I wasn’t going there to see a specialist, I needed to see my physician or any physician at this point. I consider that set up a fraud. Never gonna go back to dr Loza.

Twice I was passing blood in my stool due to a GI issue saw the other doctor in the practice and was given a prescription for a heartburn medicine and told I needed to schedule a follow up. The Dr I was seeing was leaving the practice and they had no one else, Loza was booked but they would try to get me in my prescription ran out and while I was calling everyday and the office wouldn’t call me back for a whole week. When I called to complain to the office manager she was rude about the fact she didn’t refill the prescription the doctor did. I understand how amazing Dr Loza is but what good is a doctor I can never see.

Doctor Loza is a GREAT doctor but the staff will always tell you he’s booked 3 mo out and he usually is, then they will try to pass you on to some tall new doctor who’s in the office with Loza. This new guy doesn’t listen so be warned. If need be go to the office itself they may ask if you can be squeezed in for illness, if not go to ER.

Great doctor, one of the best.. Love the office. All of the assistants are nice, and well trained. But they need another good doctor in there, since they are so booked it takes u weeks to get an open appointment. If your sick forget about it. Got to go elsewhere.
