Yesterday my Little Samurai was taught by Riley. She is awesome 👏 I am very pleased with what I saw. Riley just became and instructor after being a student for years and she is great, the kids really respond well to her. I love that she teaches them respect and makes sure that they answer her by saying “yes mam”. It’s great to see a woman on the mat it gives our daughters something to look up to. We love this dojo and all the staff members. Reggie is hilarious he gets all the kids and parents giggling but he really knows his stuff and Alex is also terrific. Thank you everyone ! Great job on the program.

We LOVE IMAA and sensei Ruocco! My children have loved every minute they are there and are treated with respect by the leadership team. They are called on by name and given a personal experience. Sensei has an eye for detail and runs his facility with professionalism in all aspects. I highly recommend bring your kids as they will learn values, respect, and get a good workout.

This studio has been the perfect place for our son. He has been enrolled here for almost two years and really enjoys it. He has learned how to focus better and be determined in learning new martial arts skills. He has also learned some really important core life skills at this facility that will follow him wherever he goes.

Sensei Ruocco and his staff are wonderful and really work hard to make sure each child is moving forward and understanding what goes on in class. They bring such a positive experience to the table for everyone that takes a class here. We know that the new After School they are working on is going to be the best around.

Best Martial Arts Training AroundI have been a student at the International Martial Arts Academy located in Fort Lauderdale for the past six months. I had never been in a martial arts dojo before then. However, IMAA caught my attention immediately upon entering the facility. I couldn’t help but notice the building was clean, organized and had a friendly staff. What I hadn’t expected was the feeling of peace that overcame me as I walked in, the feeling that I belonged. My interest in joining IMAA came from the belief that something was missing in my life. I have never been much of a gym bunny, but the idea of martial arts seemed like a fantastic way to step out of my comfort zone and really push myself. My life had become stagnant, my confidence was low and I was searching for something, though I didn’t know what it was exactly and then I started taking martial arts lessons. This school exudes everything you could desire from a trainer. All instructors are extremely well trained in many different forms of martial arts, knows just how far to push and at the same time instills confidence. If you are looking for instructors who are professional, well trained and care about your progress then IMAA of Fort Lauderdale is the only place to go for Martial Arts instruction. Already after 6 months of lessons, I already have a renewed sense of confidence, self-worth and am more focused in other aspects of my life. Physically I can do things I didn’t think my body was capable of, but my instructors encourages me so much that it is only later that I realize how much I physically pushed myself. It doesn’t feel like work. Taking martial arts at IMAA is fun, exciting and more than I could have ever hoped. Every lesson teaches me something new, not only about martial arts, but about myself as well. I cannot stress enough that if you are missing anything in your life, or are interested in martial arts then IMAA BEST MARTIAL ARTS IN TOWN!
