Mama Maria’s Pizza

We have found our pizza place! Hubby and I were really wanting a good pizza from a local joint, so after researching Yelp, we landed on Mama Maria’s. Bonus points for being right up the street from our house! We opted for delivery, but it’s good to know that it’s a hop, skip, and a jump away.

We placed our order online for an 18″ cheese pizza, 6 garlic knots, and two slices of chocolate mousse cake. The order confirmation stated it would be 70 minutes…no biggie as we ordered pretty early in the evening. Imagine my surprise when they arrived about 30 minutes later!! The delivery guy was super nice and professional.

The pizza was AMAZING!!! We typically order a plain cheese pizza from a new place to gauge their pizza making skills…if a pizza place can’t make a simple cheese pizza, that’s not good. Mama Maria’s KNOWS how to make a pizza! The flavor was spot-on as it the sauce was a bit sweet, they didn’t skimp on the cheese, and the crust was baked to perfection. The garlic knots were flavorful and cooked well. The chocolate mousse cake was more of a pudding than cake, but it was decadent and sinful!

I’m so excited that we found this place as our search for a neighborhood pizza restaurant is over. There are also so many other options on the menu that I can’t wait to try. I’m a fan!

We recently moved to Coconut Creek and I saw Mama Maria’s sign at the entrance of Winston Park. I decided to grab my daughter a couple of slices for a lunch and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted very good!

I’ve been back a few times now and the cashier is always friendly, making small talk while I wait for the food. The owner is great too! I love having MM so close to home. I’m getting ready to place an online order right now. Thank you and keep it up.

I come here every other day for lunch and love the pizza. I recommend the grandma slices and pinwheels. You’ll thank me later!

Boo! I ordered a bottle of Coke and Philly cheese steak. Paid $14.87. I asked for ketchup. They gave me 1, half-filled plastic mini-cup. I apologized and said, “I’m sorry. I like a lot of ketchup. May I please have another one.” She says, “The 1st 1 is free. I’ll have to charge you 50 cents for another one.” Can you believe that? If your business model is so fragile that you can’t allow a customer to have 2 ketchups, something is drastically wrong! Well, tell your boss he just lost a customer for .50.

Their staff is always friendly and ensure the orders are ready on time. Their menu has a variety of options, each full of flavor and guaranteed to fill you up.
This is one of the few places where I get excited for the meal after placing my order. It always hits the spot!
