I’m a frontline medical worker from out of state, Doctor refused to see me because I dont have have medical insurance at the moment. Had an appointment and the Doctor canceled it herself, never called to alert me just sent a text. Very rude and disrespectful.
No wonder why this place has TERRIBLE reviews. This office is horrendous and the staff is insanely rude. This office needs to be shut down. Mariana doesn’t care about her patients and should lose her license. Absolutely shocked at how her front desk staff talked to me. Unprofessional and unreliable
Dr. Martinasevic and her team are excellent. She is very easy to communicate with, is an active listener, and helps provide insightful advice over a myriad of topics. Her staff is highly responsive and has been a tremendous help in arranging visits, follow ups, and coordinating timely pharmacy assistance. I am a better person as a result of Dr. Martinasevic and am highly grateful for the help. An easy 5-star recommendation.
My name is Michelle and I have worked here at the front desk at Dr. Martinasevic’s office for several years. I have seen a lot. We do our best to be kind and supportive of all our patients. Dr. Martinasevic is an excellent doctor. I see the difference in patients from their initial evaluations and their follow ups. Dr. Martinasevic makes a positive difference in the lives of so many of her patients. It’s actually remarkable.
The care I received from Dr Martinasevic was below average at best. I would pay for a 20 minute session and my last session she treated me by phone for less than 10 minutes. They were late on my last phone consult and I called in 20 minutes later. At that time the rude male receptionist said the price went up from $130 to $150 for a 20 minute session. I asked why I wasn’t notified. He said they posted it in the office. I don’t go into the office so how would I know that. I understand now that psychiatrists shouldn’t be continuously doing phone consults on patients and I’ve only seen the Dr once in person. The office was very rude, Michelle this time, when I just spoke to her. She said in order to see the Dr. it would be a $75 cancel fee plus the $150 ( again keep in mind they didn’t call me at 10:20 am on 2/7/20 for my phone consult. I called in 20 minutes later. They were late on my appointment and I was upset they didn’t notify of the price increase. I am now without a Dr, being it takes several weeks to get in as a new patient to another Dr. I have requested a refill or partial month refill on my medications to hold me over, as I transition my care. I can’t have a lapse on medication and will be reporting this Dr. if they continue to ignore my request. They are required to make a safe transition for my care and they are not doing that. I already have anxiety and when I speak to the office, they make it worse. I’ve asked repeatedly to speak to the Dr. directly and they are ignoring that requests as well. I have a friend who is an attorney and is guiding me on what to do next.
