Papi’s NY Pizza

Dude is old school reminds me living back in the bronx. The pizza is very good for a Florida pizza spot. 28 years is staying somthing old school Italian guy doing all the work. Will be my pizza spot for sure.

So the owner does not have any place to sit inside so me and my husband on my lunch break set outside to eat our pizza that we ordered. The owner comes out screaming saying he doesn’t like homeless people hanging outside mean while I’m on my lunch from across the street from the place. Now if they had a dining area or even table and chairs outside I would have gladly sat at a table. I enjoy their Pizza a lot but now I refused to spend my money at this place. On a weekly basis I believe I would spend probably about $60 a week and that’s just when I’m at work. When I’m home I like to order their pizza and have it delivered once a week for my family and that cost me about another 40 bucks so all-in-all I spend approximately $100 at this pizza place. That I will never go to again Papi I will never come back to your restaurant because you are rude and inconsiderate.

Pretty good slices but I’ve had better. Service is really good and essentially no waiting time for lunch which is awesome because I only have 30 min lunch

The owner is rude. Does not cook with seasoning other than salt and pepper for a clam sauce dish. All he kept insisting was hes been cooking this way for 30 years and no one has complained. Ive never heard of a claim sauce with no white or red wine added, EVER. Owner spoke over me and gave attitude yelling back at me every time I tried to give cc info for refund. After arguing for 10 minutes owner finally issued full refund and still insisted he was right about the seasoning and 30 years of cooking. He also stated he’d be sending his delivery driver back for the dish, that he would taste it himself [the owner]. So he was going to take back a dish in the middle of a pandemic and eat from it after i had already tried the dish. How disgusting is that? 10/10 will NOT order from here again.
