When I decided to remodel my home, I did not fully realize the extent of such an undertaking. My main considerations were a budget and whether to work with an interior designer. I have worked with interior designers in the past and always found that not all completely have the same vision or are able to interpret my vision within my budget.

After researching and interviewing various interior designers I finally found Perla Lichi. Immediately, we clicked. She got me! She listened and reiterated my vision and was able to articulate it better than I could have. She was also so real and never put any pressure on me. The suggestions she made were solid and made sense. Most importantly, they were within my budget. She was very patient with me and I felt that we developed a relationship built on trust. It did not take me long to decide that Perla would be an integral part of the success of my remodel. I was completely overwhelmed and all over the place. She helps me focus, regroup and organize my thoughts.

Perla has excellent taste and resources. She knows where to find the right products and materials. She led us in new and different directions that provided beautiful solutions. The skilled workers and subcontractors she works with are first rate and artists at their craft. They are a pleasure to work with. She takes great care to select only the best. She has great rapport with them and they are very responsive to her. When issues and questions come up, As they always well and a job like this, she is very accessible and addresses them quickly and effectively. She becomes your ally, always checking with you to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the progress and the product as well as staying within budget. Anyone that has embarked on similar projects with contractors can attest to the need for a qualified professional when things don’t go as expected or proposed. As a business, Perla Lichi Interior Design is well organized and runs very efficiently.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by Perla and I would recommend her without the slightest hesitation.

At first this woman seemed nice and professional, the problem is after i signed a contract for 25k for capital improvements which wasn’t anything special. She wallpapered four accent walls and installed three boarder around three walls. It took her only a day to cash my first check for $12,500 and i still am waiting for her to finish the wallpaper. Never herd of a designer wanting paying in full before she even finished four accent walls. Not one piece of furniture was placed in my home. I then left a check of the balance for $12,500 and said please hold for three days, and this person placed a notice of lien for $12,500. The chandelier she had installed ,which by the way had to be paid to install by me, was used and damaged. This woman is not that good of a designer and for $25,000 I paid her in advance was a waste. To many other good designers out there for anyone else to hire before you make the same mistake as i did unfortunately. This woman was recommended so i had no previous dealings or expectations to use before hiring her.

Yet, there were times when, after hours of her investing work, I was not perfectly happy with how things were actually turning out . Perla, with such an understanding and patience, would change gears, revamp, and work with me to fix things up and tailor-cut to my preferences. And always, always, Perla helped happily.
In addition to her being thoughtful and supportive, Perla’s work itself demands comment and compliment!
My home is now, thankfully, both stunning, and also super, super practical. Amazingly, Perla has woven together function and flare!
Given that I have young children, work at home, and also enjoy hosting, this coordination has produced the amazing results of a home which feels simultaneously comfortable and state-of-the-art luxurious!
