Phil’s Heavenly Pizza

The food for that price is not worth it. We were told 20-30 minutes for a pickup but sat inside for an additional 30min, so it took an hour to get our food. I can understand that when you are busy, but they barely had any customers and were mostly just standing around in the back.
The pizza LOOKED great. Tasted like NOTHING. We paid $44 for a lg philly and small Stromboli. Waste of money and waste of calories on a cheat day.

My fiancé has worked at many pizza places and he could not figure out what was wrong with the crust. He said it looks and tastes about a day or 2 too old which happens sometimes apparently but he still couldn’t figure out why it had a tough bread soaked in salt water type of consistency. It also had almost no sauce and I was convinced for a moment that they forgot the cheese. And that’s what the crust tasted like on both the pizza and Stromboli not just the Stromboli

This was my cheat meal so I was not going to waste it, I put more cheese on it from my fridge and a taco ranch sauce to give it some kind of flavor.

No masks were worn but at least they did not harass us about wearing our masks like I’ve read in previous reviews.

Anti-maskers… If that’s your thing, you’ve found the right place. No one working here wears a mask… And for a Christian pizza place, they were pretty rude. Can’t speak to the food, because we walked out from shock.

I came in at 10:00pm and thought they were still open the owner told me unfortunately they were closed but said he would get me a couple of slices. As I was reaching for my wallet he said don’t worry about it, it’s on the house. I have never experienced an act of Kindness so great at any restaurant. I’m from nyc and can say this is the best in Florida!!!

We were impressed right away by the decorations on the outside of this place. We ordered Phil’s heavenly pizza, one of my teenagers had the BBQ chicken pizza lunch special and it was all delicious! The crust is really good! 10/10 would recommend! We met Phil he was super nice and we had a great chat with him! We were in Pompano beach on vacay with the fam and were pretty hungry and this place totally hit the spot.

Great tasting pizza. Wonderful atmosphere. Quite melodious music, outdoor dining, friendly and helpful staff, excellent cheesy garlic bread. Will definitely come back to try more menu items. Appreciated having God’s word lifted up. There is power in the name of Jesus!
