Pompano Beach Sand and Spurs Equestrian Park

Poor service, extremely complicated to bring our horse there, like 16 pages to sign, notary,expensive,etc. Understand better now why 50% of the stalls are empty.

The park is a beautiful welcoming place to spend a few hours with your family or by yourself. The bathroom is clean and the grounds are well maintained by the City of Pompano Beach.
Miss Karen’s Riding Academy is featured in photos giving technical riding lessons to children and adults. There are benches for sitting and lovely flowering plants to enjoy. The trees by the office are magnificent with a memorial which has the American flag flying in the gentle breezes. Several picnic tables are also sitting under the many large banyan trees near the office .
Take care to DRIVE NO MORE than FIVE MILES PER HOUR inside the gate so as not to upset the horses. MOTORCYCLES must park OUTSIDE the entrance gate by the Goodyear blimp base.
Feeding the horses apples or carrots should be approved by an owner or someone who has a horse at the park.
