I was very happy with Lizzy.
It is clear from the beginning that she knows yoga in and out. She is well read, well trained and with enough life experience that made her who she is today.
Her choice of requested books is another way I could tell about her experience. Unlike most who recommend same books, she carefully selected only a few. Once you read them you understand the quality of the content.
She can answer any question and will gladly offer any information.
What I really liked about her were her expectations of her students. She expects you read, study, train and do your homework and for me these are the only right kind of teachers.
She builds a good foundation and I am glad I had the privilege to study with her.

Lizzy Hoffman you are one amazing inspirational and beautiful human, it was such a blessing to be able to do my “one on one 200h yoga teacher training” with Lizz, I have learned so much about about myself, my weaknesses (that I will improve on) and my strengths, I’ve gotten to know my emotional self, and of course this wonderful thing we call yoga, the magic that happens when we speak all these beautiful Sanskrit words and what they mean. During my time with Lizz she was patient, warm, encouraging, funny, someone that I felt comfortable enough to speak my truth.
Decision to commit to my Yoga teacher training was not an easy one. I struggled with whether it was the right time in my life, and weather yoga was what I really wanted to do, I didn’t know if I could make it fit into my busy work schedule and if the time requirement could work with my already jam-packed life. I also took into consideration how much I enjoyed being a student of yoga and not the teacher. Once again Lizz was so accommodating and helpful – I really wanted to prove to her and myself that this is what I needed in life, ever since that first moments I started learning about the “8 limbs of yoga”
– Yama (attitudes toward our environment), Niyama (attitudes toward ourselves), Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (restraint or expansion of the breath), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (complete integration) by Patanjali father of modern yoga, my life has changed – Lizz was my light and guide – she gently helped me to understand and grasp the importance of this practice not just on the mat but in every day life.
The sheer intensity of the physical and mental commitment required was so emotional and exiting at the same time and I was allowed to focus on my personal progress just as it was in each moment, she never rushed me – it was a constant gentle push to find that strength and openness. There was a lot to be learned about honoring our bodies and kindly asking it to do things it might not feel like doing. During this time my ashtanga practice deepened and improved significantly.
One thing that surprised me about teacher training was how much your asana practice didn’t matter. I questioned whether my practice was strong enough for teacher training on a daily basis and Lizz was right the with reassuring words and much appreciated wisdoms. I came to find that everyone was at a totally different levels and teacher training was about SO MUCH MORE than your asana practice.
Lizzy is a phenomenal teacher. Her training was the perfect fit for where I was in life. I believe in myself, in my ability to have achieve these goals that I have set for myself and I am inspired to live a life full of passion, love and good.
It was a transformational experience and my life will be forever changed. It has set so many good things in motion and shown me the way to the path I want to be on. “The light towards that Thing we are all wanting and craving in our lives” I am extremely grateful to Lizz for sharing her knowledge and lighting a fire within me. Namaste 😉

Elizabeth Hoffman is a wise, funny, engaged, and talented yoga teacher trainer. I have a luck and privilege to attend one of her private 200h YTT Vinyasa Yoga teacher training here in Pompano Beach FL.
The depth of her knowledge of the history, philosophy, culture and spirituality of yoga is profound.
I enjoyed so much her style of teaching, explaining both Yoga philosophy and asanas, she has helped me see the deeper mental, perceptive and physical and aesthetic elements of yoga movement, and new view of philosophical thoughts to consider, something only a yoga teacher with vast experience in teaching could do! On top of this she is friendly, warm, and such a joy to be around.
I cannot say enough great things about Elizabeth’s classes and her teaching methodologies. It is simply fantastic! I will be back for more! Namaste Lizzy.

Lizzy was incredible. She has endless knowledge and understanding of the human body and spirit through yoga. I felt that I was getting personal one on one yoga training but also a special amount of time to really dive in, understand and form my own thoughts and beliefs of our spiritual beings in the energy and space around us. Lizzy focuses not on just technique and how to appropriately build a productive yoga class but she offers you the ability to really open your eyes, your mind and your heart to the world, people and energy around you. I hope to take more classes from her in the future and highly recommend her and Urban Bliss Yoga as your training and continuing training studio.
