I have had dealings with the company since 1996. Steve was a designer for the remodel of my mother’s house. They are very professional and knowledgeable about building, style and the associated codes. I also like Steve’s architectural design style.

As a Permit Expeditor, I process multiple various types of plans. SH Brandt, hands down, not only has the best designs, but also considers every little detail. Steve designs electrical, plumbing and mechanical plans when many others have to hire an engineer to design those aspects. Many other architects, or should I say “drafters” working for architects, are lazy and inexperienced. Therefore, plans get rejected, often multiple times costing the owner unnecessary expenses. With Steve’s projects, your plans will go through the plan review process within a month with little or no comments. I’ve seen inexperienced architects take over a year, trying to address comments as they come up. SH Brandt’s designs and redesigns are beautiful, modern, elegant, and simplistic. He maybe a little more expensive than others, but in the long run you will save money, time and be completely satisfied. I don’t understand how anyone gave them a one star. They obviously don’t know how to read plans or had any experience with other architects. I’ve seen people hire an architect, hire a contractor, pay thousands of dollars for construction, waste months evens years just to see an inadequate design and/or equipment. Anyone planning large commercial projects, shopping centers, new homes or interior alterations, SH Brandt IS THE BEST!
