The Hen and the Hog

oh my gosh, the Hen and the Hog is literally my favorite spot to go for breakfast/lunch. The food? Amazing. The service? Amazing. Ann was my server today, and I couldn’t have been more happy. She is my FAVORITE. So polite, so kind, great service all around!!

Looking for a good brunch place and stumbled onto this absolute gem! Very good decor and the waitress staff was beyond good! Beware, portions are HUGE! My omelet was massive but was still extremely tasty. My friend had the pulled pork waffle and was blown away, even commenting that it was the best pulled pork she has ever had, and I must agree, very tasty. I would eat here all the time if I lived in Pompano!

Walked into this charming country cafe 1/2 before closing and Barbie was most gracious in serving us. We had the Reuben, Crispy Chicken BLT the Honey Pecan Brie Melt with chicken. The sandwiches were generous portions with a good selection of sides. The Honey Pecan Brie with chicken was the hands down favorite. The menu has a great selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads, flatbreads and platters. Their breakfast menu is extensive and I can’t wait to go back and try the brisket eggs Benedict.

The food is DELICIOUS!!! and comes out fast. Their service is generous and cooperative. Anne was extremely prompt and very polite. Top notch service , clean and friendly ambiance. We can’t wait to return. 10 out of 10! would recommend

The food here is amazing! Gets better each time. I always go for the fruity waffle 🙂 freshest bananas, strawberries and blueberries… the staff is so sweet and attentive, Barbie and Ann took great care of us. I feel like I’m home with moms cooking when I’m here. The music is pretty sweet too! Come check out the hog and hen if you love home cooking and cozy feeling.
