Awful front desk service. During covid they have patients waiting in the parking lot, 3 hrs later I go to see why I hadn’t been call and office girl lied and said I arrived late when I was there an hour early. Over a year trying to get a correct insurance referral authorization for the 3rd time to get cataract surgery still incorrect codes entered. Yesterday I talked with Daniella that I needed my carvelidol and atorvastatin scrips sent to walgreen urgently, the pharmacy received a Flonase and Losartan instead. I’m done with this doctor’s office.

I had a written appointment ,issued by Dr. Menendez himself for today ,January 27th 2021 at 9:30 Am.The young receptionist ,after stumbling around announced that since I was at their offices at the end of December I dont `have an appointment today. .Besides she claimed that she called me on my “mobile phone “yesterday and I did not call back therefore my appointment is cancelled!!!!.Funny thing is I do not have a mobile phone.I have a landline phone with a fully functioning answering system .In addition I was at home all day on January 26 and there were no calls from the doctors office. She called a person by the name of “Bo” who first came out to check me out and said having ,in my hand ,the written proof of scheduled visit,it does not matter.I can not see the doctor.I had a list of important RX medications I needed ..he said it was too bad. This office has a turnover of help beyond belief so no wonder you can not be reasonable with people..As soon as I came home I called the office manager,Mrs Menendez(the doctors mother ) to find out why they didn` honor my written appointment??I was not able to speak with her,but later on ,why I was out she did leave her name on my answering system(which didnt` work a day before?????)I Just an additional comment to this “organized ” office. When I told this person “BO” that I will file a complaint with the Insurance Company ,his reply was “take your best shot”Now that is how patients are treated lately. This was,I think a “payback”for one of their employee who wanted to borrow money from me,a request I rejected and reported to Dr.Menendez.Take my Best Shot???/I have no choice.I am without important medications at this time.So much for helping patients.

Dr Menedez is an excellent professional, but since chance the managing of the office to Healty Partners the service in the office is a mess, quite desorganized and to have the refered make mistakes.
Before the staff was more efficient than now.

The care of the Providers are okay, it would be a whole lot better if someone would answer the phones there.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Menendez since the day he opened in POB. My mother was his patient for many years till her passing. Friends and family use him due to his professionalism and caring. Always has been 5 stars, sadly due to comments in reference to his staff and front desk his rating are dropping. So with that said, his professionalism is the top priority! 5 starts for Dr. Menendez, as for the staff, well,I can only give them 3 stars. I’ve recommended him to friends and others and continue still today.
