U-Haul of Pompano Beach

Showed up before they closed and asked to get propane filled for a boat. They said they closed it because it was dark and they can’t see. Would be nice if they installed lights or maybe said that all services were not available. Seems silly to have a product they can’t sell. I will look elsewhere in the future.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life . The worst customer service in the world. I have travelled around the world and I am a local guide 7. Kimberley was very rude and disrespectful to me. The First thing out of her mouth was to tell me ” I will ask you to leave the building if you are not quite “. How rude and disrespectful. Our U-Haul truck was illegally stolen from our complex that was parked in a visitors parking spot. We were victims of Racial Discrimination in the case of the truck was reported to be abandon when me and my son were in the back of the truck. The person called their own personal tow truck company to remove the truck. They did not use the complex tow truck and they did not report it to the police. We had a case number and reported it stolen. Kim over charged us for the truck even though it was stolen. Kim treated me like I was invisible. Kim refused to open the back of the truck even though the policed ordered her to allow the customer to check all items on the truck. What an awful experience the worst experience I have experienced. Kim charged us for the days it was stolen and didnt even contact us. What horrible service. I will continue to fight against racial discrimination. I will continue to write bad reports untill I get a response from the Head Office. Also the place was dirty and unorganized. It smells very bad and none of the machines work for processing credit card. What an awful experience. Please people dont go here.
I had such a horrible experience dealing with Kimberly. She was so rude and not well train in customer service. What a dirty location with trash on the floor and the credit card machine in not working. What a disaster. Racial discrimination must stop. Please STOP THE RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.

I haven’t had a really bad experience here. Everything went well applying for my rental truck and the girl was really helpful and nice. Picking up my rental went smoothly as well and I didn’t have any problems, getting my truck and bringing my truck back. I didn’t have the rental long. The price wasn’t bad in total for the rental. The reason why I’m giving this 4 stars is because a U-Haul customer hit my car trying to park into a parking space near me. Didn’t bother to leave a note or anything…one of the U-Haul employee saw it. So, I’m handling that situation now. It’s possible I’ll use this location again in the near future. As it opens up at 7am which is perfect timing for me to get things done.

when I rented the truck I asked the manager if I was a few minutes late what would the charge me. I was 40 minutes late – still not 24 hours. The girl charged me for another day – didn’t say a word and when I questioned it said the manager didn’t notate our conversation and that she would note in the file that I had a bad attitude. Wow – nothing like having an immature, emotional child running your business. She also barked at a fellow employee in front of two customers because he didn’t handle a call properly. Guess she was having a bad day.

Excellent service. We filled our rv twice at this location. Great staff! Perfect hours for us open late too! See you again.
