Vetco Oakland Animal Medical Center

First visit not successful for my cat for routine checkup and vaccinations. I advised the vet assistant that my cat was not used to other people and that special precautions should be taken. I was not heard, my cat knocked everything over and I had to assist in retrieving my cat from where he was hiding in the other room. Second visit, a different vet and vet assistant, the vet assistant listened to me, and she spoke to the vet about my concerns. Special arrangements were made to keep my cat calm and a lot of effort and consideration went into a game plan. I felt confident and grateful to both the vet and the assistant for the care and compassion they showed to my pet. My cat did great, got him microchipped, he was calm and relaxed. He felt at ease. I really loved how the vet assistant showed her love for her job and she was very genuine and friendly to the both of us. She is a gem and I do hope to see her in my next visit. Full disclosure: my cat was sedated, due to the experienced we had on the first visit, this was recommended by the first vet.

Process overall was seamless. Greeted right on arrival by Sebastian and the ease of it once Stephanie came in to evaluate my pup made this such a breeze.

VetCo is an awesome place! Sebastian and The Tech Elizabeth were very informative on what I need to do fur my puppy! They were both kind and enjoyable to be around. Highly recommended!

We brought our Bella to be seen at Vetco and we must say we were very happy that we did. The staff is super friendly and very informative. They showed that they truly care about our furry family members. I would definitely recommend anyone bringing their fur babies to Vetco!! Thank you to the doctor and staff!!

I have been taking my dog here since I got her and they are amazing! Easy to get an appointment, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. They take such good care of their own, are very knowledgeable of animals, and I will continue coming here!
