Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I called to get a quote on homeowners insurance. The lady starts to ask questions about previous claims I filed with my current insurance … I told her I had one claim 5 years ago and all the repairs are done. Her reply was immediately that I should probably stick with my insurance company. I told her that I wanted to see if Peoples Trust were cheaper so could she give me a quote. She said “no thank you, I’ll pass” and hung up the phone.
I didn’t know whether to call back and speak with her manager. Honestly, if they treat you that way with just getting a quote, I couldn’t imagine if I was insured with them and something happened to my roof. So honestly , whatever.

Terrible insurance company. My roof was leaking in three places. We had three roofing companies tell us it was storm damage and to call our insurance company. Of course people’s trust uses their own company who said it’s not storm damage and won’t cover any of the repairs. They said the shingles are coming off… meanwhile they inspected the roof a few months prior when we purchased it, deeming it in good shape. Absolutely do not use this company.

My rates went up 43% so I call to ask for an explanation and maybe a mistake was made. The person was very difficult to understand and was not helpful. If I can’t get a rep to explain the jump in charges than you CAN’T be my insurance company. Thank You since I have found a new provider for $260 less than my original policy. The new agent was not willing to disparage your company but did say the name People’s Trust sends a red flag.

I am very disappointed in this company. They sent me one letter and it was one price and weeks later second with a price that more than doubled. Claimed it was all insurance for home Florida but found out not so.
My mortgage holder includes taxes and insurance in my monthly payment. This will mean my payment will go way up. When I called they said I could raise out of pocket prices to lower price. Why do I need them then? If I could pay for those out of pocket expenses i probably wouldn’t need them but instead i have low income, am senior citizen, widowed and disabled and they played on those things to sign me up. Told me the company I had before was overcharging me when they did same thing peoples trust is now. Dont trust them. They only care about their own pockets being full. Why wait to send me the second notice with higher prices til I had no time to do anything different? Now I’m stuck. They send directly to mortgage holder and I have to play this year out and hope for way to get away from them next time before renewal date. Dont walk run run away

The team member I spoke with followed through with my request while staying on the phone with me to confirm the fax was completed and everything was sent to my mortgage company. She was also very reassuring. I appreciated her so much.
