Waste Management – Pompano Beach, FL

Waste Management, Inc. has been serving our Condominium Association for many, many, years. Your drivers are excellent and we appreciate their courtesy and hard work.
Recently, we had new dumpsters installed on our property. Your young driver, Yaccel, who brought out the new containers, lowered them to the ground, moved them into place, and hoisted up the old ones (filled) to the flatbed truck. He made it look easy, but it wasn’t. He was very nice and enjoyed his work.
In addition, Vincent Green, Area Driver Trainer for WM, has always been very helpful. He recently showed our new Maintenance man how to maneuver the containers into place. It was a huge help.
We are happy to have Vince here in our community. He always has a smile on his face, and is kind to everyone, He is a credit to your company and the community at large.
Vince, Yaccel, and others on your team, represent WM in the best possible light. Your company deserves 5 star recognization, for having employees who enjoy their work and care about our environment.

Today Saturday January 16th we the regular Garbage- and Recycling service. This is the first time that the recycling can not was completely emptied. Half of the load in the can was left so now we have only 50% space for recycling this coming week. The stuff that was left was not stuck but totally loose so it should have ben dropped out into the truck. Guess the driver was in a hurry since the garbage can had moved away from the normal spot. Could it be that this truck was a new one as it was white painted? My location is in Davie , Pasadena Estate.

Ordinarily they do a great job. These guys take whatever we out out. But lately they have been arriving at odd hours of the day. Tuesday was Bulk Trash pickup day. I watched the driver pickup the yard debris at house across the street and drive on, they never came back to get my waste, which has been out since Sunday. I called Tuesday afternoon and was told someone would be out that day, or first thing the next morning. At noon today I called again to remind I was still in need of a pickup. I was again assured that someone would be out today. Well guess what, it’s now end of the day the night on Wednesday and yard waste pile is still there. Now the leaves are all wilted and starting to fall off the branches and blow all over the street. Just what we wanted to see on Thanksgiving. I feel awful that my neighbors will have family over and have to look at this awful sight in my yard. Waste Management has really disappointed this holiday season. I understand mistakes are made, but when someone calls multiple times you should STEP-UP as a company and right the wrong.

Company in extremely lacking in customer service and reliability. I have been in customer service industry for years and have never seen such poor responses to situations that call for the expertise in the field that is apparent within their company Name. They have overflowing containers due to not picking up in a timely manner, then refuse to take it when its overflowing, leaving a property looking and smelling like filth for days on end. it is a shame that a company that is supposed to help the cleanliness of the environment takes such little pride in the work and service they provide. If you have business concerning waste, i suggest you look elsewhere.
