I couldn’t be more impressed with Athena Body Adornment.

We have been on quite the curated ear journey for the past few years and there is no where else I would go for any ear jewelry or piercing needs. Athena Body Adornment gets all of my business. Yesterday I returned to down size my posts from a recent piercing and I was reminded why I love Athena Body Adornment.

The shop feels like a boutique. Beautiful pastels are painted on the walls and everywhere you look there are beautiful plants, cool wall decore and crystal’s. Mel, the Manager of First Impressions, is so kind and helpful. They showed all of the new jewelry and listened to what I wanted to do with my ear.

Sara, owner and piercer, is so knowledgeable and professional. She recommends piercing based on your ear anatomy. She helps you pick out jewelry options which will not only look good on your ear but will also sit the best based on your ear anatomy. She knows gemstones and understands color options.

Sara explains how she going to pierce you while cleaning and sterilizing her tools. It really helps calm my nervousness about the piercing. All of my piercings have healed beautifully and quickly.

The shop was wonderfully clean and the staff was incredibly helpful! I came in for some new jewelry and the selection is impressive, to say the least. Vee, the piercer, was amazing and made sure I was completely informed of every step of the process. Even for a simple jewelry purchase and swapping out the piece, they honestly made me feel valued. I can’t imagine going anywhere else from now on.

Owner was sweet as pie and her front desk assistant was knowledgeable and patient with my partner and I as we chose our jewelry. As people passing through, I appreciated their ability to accommodate our needs as most shops up north don’t allow ANY piercing/jewelry change/etc below the mask. Obviously states vary with their protocols but I’m glad they were less strict while still following all necessary protocol related to COVID. Blessings sweethearts and thanks for the septum stretch!

First off the place is beautiful and very clean and the service is top class. I had an appointment with Lina as I had a piercing that was done somewhere else that was giving me issues and I thought I just needed to change the belly bar. When Lina looked at it she informed me very sympathetically that it was rejecting and the best thing to do was remove it and let it heal and I could possibly re-pierce in the future. I was so very appreciative of her honesty and gentleness because she could have just sold me a pricey piece of jewelry knowing it likely wouldn’t work. But she didn’t…she removed it for me and advised me how to care for it. She was an absolute dream…knowledgeable, patient, kind and gentle. I promised her I will be back in about 3 months to get re-pierced. If you’re looking for a high quality experience look no further! Thank you Lina! ❤

Sara is an absolute doll! I got a VCH done with her tonight and I am beyond pleased with the service from the time I walked in to the time I left. I did have to wait a few minutes past my appointment time but nothing too serious. Sara was very informative and made me feel extremely comfortable. Any questions I had, she answered with ease and she made the entire process very relaxing. It was quick and not that painful, just moderate discomfort at the time of piercing and overall painless thereafter. I HIGHLY recommend her for all your needs. I did spend more than I had anticipated overall but I honestly would change it for the world. The service and experience were worth every penny!
