Mike and his dad did a total renovation / remodel of Kitchen and TWO bathrooms in my condo. New ceilings/doors/lighting/cabinetry/fixtures/kitchen lay-out. All work was done on time and within budget. My building manager(condo) said Mike was one of THE BEST contractors ever to work in building. They were professional, courteous and cared about every aspect of the project. Their craftsmanship is top-notch. EXCELLENT from start to finish. I coordinated this project from NJ visiting every few weeks. Ive done many renovations through the years; this was by-far the BEST experience with a contractor. Working with Mike was a pleasure.

This group just kept putting our project off several, like in many times over and over in the course of 10 months. They originally said it would take 2-3 weeks. What a joke. I want there for much of that time but had to turn away my family from using the condo 4 different times because it was unlivable. Don’t use this company

The previous person who posted a one star is inaccurate. Mike just finished a job for me and yes I had to wait as he and his son are the best in south Florida. Total professional and money is not the bottom line for them. Very unfair comment. Like all contractors you have to establish a relationship and be patient. Especially with all the demand in south Florida.

Carpentry Plus was recommended to me to renovate a bathroom in my condo. Mike Sr. stopped by to provide a quote; he was personable, professional and I felt I was in good hands. This was November, 2017. We collectively decided to wait until after the new year to start the renovation. I called Mike in January, he asked if the engineer had been here to draw the plans. Not aware that this was the next step, I followed his instructions, called the engineer, who took measurements, drew plans, and collected $500. Unfortunately, my copy of the plans showed a conflict between the door proposed and my current closet door. On March 21st, I sent an email to Mike requesting a start to the renovation, which now included removing walls, and much more work. Mike sent me a reply, stating they were backed up on jobs for now. By April I gave up. So not only time wasted but also $500. Unless you have a large job, which is much more profitable, I would not recommend Carpentry Plus. I think they have good intentions but when it comes to the bottom line, money is the motivator.
