Coconut Creek Building/Permitting Department

When calling the city to get inspection time frames you have to call them between 730-800 am but if your transferred and inspector does not pick up you must keep calling relentlessly because at 8:01 they will tell you that you had to call between that time frame. I don’t understand if the inspector can provide a time frame between 7:30 and 8:00 why can’t they leave that list so the clerk’s can provide service to the community.

This Building department is fast and efficient. The employees are always courteous and have a smile on their face.

Not like fort Lauderdale and similar cities you see all the construction going on..this lol city will gouge you in any lil way for $50.
I’ve had 4 inspection with pompano a final and no charge. I had an inspection for fort Lauderdale and inspector call me to gain access.it was his interest to inspect no make 50bucks.
Coconut creek will charge $50 and half a cent if can…well the tax 0ayet will fit this fee anyways…
As a contractor you enforce home owner to do it with a permit…but this kind of stuff make them will not and walk away……from contractors…
Sorry but I had to leave the truth.it was the first inspection we cross by 5 minutes of estimated time frame.
