Joel Jacobson is nothing more than a crook and a con artist. He somehow built a reputation as someone who can help resolve tax issues via offer-in-compromise. Then he charged a client I referred $12,500, let a year go by without doing anything, made us resubmit everything to him because he has lost it, and did not return any form of communication. When we finally caught up with him after two years, he had submitted a very poor offer, it had been rejected, the appeals period had passed, and he had not communicated any of this to the client. We then hired someone else to redo the process from the beginning. This was a tax attorney who got everything done in 2 weeks, charged the client $1,000, and obtained a very good OIC arrangement from the IRS. My advice regarding this man and this firm is – Run!

Joel has been straight forward and helped me get my business in order. I will also use him for tax resolution to get my taxes worked out with the IRS.

He’s A Con Artist! He took my husband and me for $4,000.00. We paid him 2 years ago for our case that should have been settled in 6 months. We couldn’t get him to call us back and when he did he had nothing to say. He’s a joke!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was referred to Creative Accounting & Tax Services by another accountant to help with an Offer In Compromise with the IRS. Joel Jacobsen made us pay $17,500.00 up front and never did a single thing to help us out and in fact made things worse by blowing off the IRS agent causing a Levy to go into effect. He has failed to return any of my emails and voicemails to date. Joel is a crook and I plan to get my lawyer involved to take further action. Joel had months to meet the demands of the IRS and after finding out he had done nothing, I handled it myself and had everything to the IRS in a matter of days, so why he thinks this should have cost me $17,500.00 to begin with is ridiculous! Stay clear of this business!!!
