Excellent training. I came into the conceal weapons class as a complete beginner and gained foundational knowledge about when it is and is not acceptable to draw a firearm according to Florida law as well as a basic understanding of how to handle a handgun.

Many other firearm training courses just do the bare minimum and pass people along: 2-hour or shorter classes with 20+ people. But Brian teaches a very thorough 4-hour class capped at 6 people (my class only had two) and elaborately answers any questions you have along the way.

No nonsense class with awesome instructions and facts. Brian is a great instructor who’s not spending half the class talking about himself and how great he is like most firearm instructors. At no point in the class did I feel like I wasn’t grasping the topic and all questions were answered directly and precise. I will definitely recommend this level of instruction to anyone looking to get there CCW. Thanks B.

I can’t say enough about the great experience I had today with Brian Doyle at Direct Hit Firearms Training. This man is competent, knowledgeable, and puts on a great class. He not only educates you in current law and real world scenarios, he makes you think, feel welcome, and has a passion to truly make sure you understand and learn. His class sizes are small to take advantage of more attention to each individual. You are not just a number. Make no mistake, this man is very busy and in demand, but he takes the time needed. My family members and I took the Concealed Weapons class with Brian Doyle today. Brian was so understanding and cooperative in fitting us in when one member of our party had a difficult time getting away from his job. Brian worked with us to accommodate our relative’s schedule. Brian taught an excellent and extremely comprehensive class. We learned a wealth of information, and Brian’s presentation couldn’t have been better. He was many times funny, and many times very serious about gun safety. He truly feels safety is paramount, and sincerely makes sure his clients are well aware of Florida laws, and taught us various scenarios and made sure we understood the many variables we might be faced with one day. I was lacking confidence that I could learn enough to pass the test. Brian was super in encouraging me, and to my surprise and delight, I passed with 9/10 shots within the circle! I would give Direct Hit Firearms 10 stars if that was an option, and I highly recommend them. As soon as I can I want to take the Personal Protection Inside the Home class.
