I purchased a beautiful 1999 Black 1200 Custom from Dixie several years ago. Looking back it must have been in their first or second year. I saw the description and the details. I was leary about buying a bike on line but took the chance. I loved in Savannah Georgia and had the bike shipped to my work. Well it arrived and it was absolutely perfect. Even the little defects I was made aware of were hardly noticeable for a bike several years old. The bike ran perfectly and have me many years of service and a lot of turned heads. I am prompted to make this review now as I have owned several Harleys since then but recently came across Dixie Cycles again and decided to do it again. I just sold my bike last week and need another. Prices and selections here in Savannah are not good so I am going to pull the trigger with Dixie again. I hope the experience will be as good as the last one. So guys take care of me when you get my e mail this week on the bikes I am interested in. Overall I would recommend them from reading other reviews and my prior experience. I will give a fair and honest review on this next purchase as well so stand by.

Thanks Jim for the great tour and information on the different types of bikes and guiding us on the choices we have with beginner cruisers & adventure bikes. No pressure and very knowledgeable advice was priceless for my husband & I. The store was roomy, and we had plenty of space to try the different bikes.
We look forward to going back in Jan/Feb after we take the MSF Safety Classes. Thanks again for a wonderful motorcycle shopping/educational experience!

Awesome place. Jim was amazing. I don’t know a thing about motorcycles but wanted to get one. He made the process excellent. We went over many bikes and what fit me best my body type size etc. Didn’t try to oversell me or push me on one bike or another. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to riding it after I get lessons next weekend.
