Highlands Scrub Natural Area

Peaceful place walking the sidewalk “trail” the place is not huge but a good nature observation

Isolated bit of early Florida,pre development style. A laved walk thru old Florida scrub ,one area had a fire in 2014 and as Nature would heal it, so too has the county. Only downside ,it IS in the middle of civilization, so road noise and the neighborhood behind it can bleed in

Not a bad Park. Sometimes I go here to clear my head because it’s one of the most quiet and closest parks near me.

A nice place to touch nature in an urban/suburban environment while learning about the land. And if you are in exercise, walking the 1/4 mile trail is nice.

Quiet place to go for a walk along the trail, sidewalk. Benches to sit and just relax along the way at different benches through out the park.
