IHOP

So the service was good overall, but I have to say that we were one of 3 parties at the entrance. We walked in together – my husband, his ex, and our kids. There were 2 staff members at the counter and they saw all of us, asked for the count as usual, and even after counting, proceeded to ask who my husband’s ex was with (she’s the only black woman in the party; my step-daughter is obviously mixed but is of pretty fair skin tone) twice. I had to deduct 2 stars because it made us uncomfortable.

Very nice staff and welcoming. Family friendly atmosphere. Food not delivered on time and not at all, waited 45 minutes +. Milk was fantastic though!!! I strongly believe better organization would fix the issues. Everyone else was angry but I dont look at it like that, it’s a way to do better. I did end up walking out because of the long wait but thanked everyone for their dedication and kindness towards me. The staff being friendly is not the issue, the long wait for the food and poor service quality in terms of having the food at all or on time is the issue.

Cooking is lacking. Pancakes should be perfect or pretty close, right? Not here. One day the regular buttermilk pancakes were thin. Another day they were regular thickness but bit overcooked, with one being very small and the other regular sized. Chocolate pancakes not as described in menu, had to be returned. Eggs over cooked. Also was not busy when we arrived but it took a long time to get food. Waitresses good.
