There’s a lot that can be improved and corporate is making it difficult for the office. Nurses used to be able to stay a few minutes or even an hour or two extra, when no coverage was available for the next shift. Not anymore. Times are tough and nurses are few, so this an unreasonable way of saving a few dollars.

They can do better and lately the policy decisions have been unfortunate and NOT client centered. Right now is the point to do a good job and not make decisions that impact your clients. C’mon, you used to be better than profits over people. Please try.

I still think that the Ft. Lauderdale office is good and well run, and with a great staff. That said, some decisions high up are not prudent and hurt those whom your business serves in the community.
I am unhappy that certain issues can’t be planned for better.

I been working for Maxim for over a year.Could not be more happy that I was given the opportunity to become one off their nurse. When I first stated, they found me a case to work on right away. They always have work available, so one can becomes quickly a full time employment with great benefits.
I think what I enjoy the most from working for Maxim besides their availability of cases; is the continue education that they offer to their nurse. I absolutely love their in service classes and their anual skills
refresher fair.

The working environment is a high quality. The staff at Maxim Healthcare Services are great to work with and is able to help you with anything you need.

Maxim Healthcare is exceptional!!! We’ve been with Maxim for over 19 months since our son Joshua was discharged from the NICU. They are head and shoulders above other nursing agencies.

They were not our first nursing agency. Our initial agency was unprofessional and impersonal. For example, during a face-to-face meeting with our first nursing agency, they called our son “the kid”. It doesn’t seem like a big deal, but after coming to the meeting late after they rescheduled our initial meeting. Then management never reaching out to us to introduce their company to family. And only coming to the meeting to get us to paperwork that was past due because of their negligence. That was the straw that broke the camels back.

In contrast, Maxim Healthcare Fort Lauderdale was very warm and professional. They do a very good job vetting the nurses they send to your home to make sure they are experienced with your particular case. They also do a great job sending the nurses out beforehand to orient with the family to make sure they are a good fit.

However, Maxim Healthcare isn’t perfect but they do care. They will go above and beyond to correct any mistakes they may have made. They have gained our trust in doing so.

And best of all I believe they do a great job communicating with the family. They listen to any concerns that you may have and work with you to correct them.

Finally, I would recommend Maxim Healthcare Fort Lauderdale to anyone looking for a nursing agency for their loved ones.
