North Pompano Park

I had 3 football games today won all thats why I give 5 stars

My boyfriend grew up in the area and would play at the park all the time with his friends. Upon returning 13 years later he said things had changed. I liked that they had an overhang for the basketball court, a soccer field, football field and a pond( no swimming for people or pets). We saw an iguana on the other side in a tree which was pretty cool. The park could have been cleaner which is why I’m giving 4 stars. We noticed trash by the court, by several trees, parking lot and in the open away from the soccer field.

I loved hiking in this park and the trail was challenging. Dogs are allowed to be off leash which is nice but I’d love it if they had a small dog park enclosed so that I could’ve let my puppy run around. Otherwise I had a great time walking the trails. Definitely will be returning here when I get back to LA. the east trail is the right amount of challenge without killing your self. Next time I will try the longer west trail.

They could clean up playground better. Garbage, leaves in sand area. Kinda rowdy at night or weekends but weekday mornings are fine and you’ll basically have the place to yourself.

Here for an optimist football game, the staff is doing a great job at cleaning the restroom facilities and grounds. It’s greatly appreciated!
