My favorite place to go and study. This is where I came to study and passed my RN exam. Always quite, clean and the staff are always friendly.

Nice library to visit on weekends. My first visit was on a Sunday and the library was peaceful, quiet, and easy to park. I came for a second time on a Wednesday and was unable to find a parking spot. I wish they’d have guest spaces or something like that as I drove around for 20 minutes trying to find parking but ultimately left.

A very decent medium sized library branch. The facility is well maintained (the bathrooms are clean etc). The building seems ADA compliant.
The collection seems sort of small but many books I have looked for have been there. They have collections that reflect the community’s interests that seem quite popular. The staff is super they are knowledgeable and helpful. Many are very friendly and the service at check out is great, prompt and efficient. They have rather long hours for a library these days. I have been pleased with this library.

I could visit this place every single day, and I would be very very happy as well. But the florida government does not and will not ever establish an extended route of the free coconut creek bus route to include some of the streets surrounding this library. Unfortunately, none of the free buses circle around any other of the libraries. I used to visit this library a couple times a month when on high school trips.
I can bike this trip, but it would take hours to get to this library and I would be as soaked as a bum. Impractical! The closest library that my bike could ever take me is the run down Deerfield military trail library by the train station. And it is still a long, and dangerous and exhausting ride to get too. So I go there usually 1 or 2 times a month.

It’s soo sad that I cannot go to this every day just to sit with my laptop and write and enjoy the silence in a facility well dedicated to reading and studying due to the transportation issues. I would give this 5 stars, but I need the bus issues resolved.

The limited bus issues and the dangerous bike treks is what prevents me from going to libraries anymore.

Although, that is not the point. There are many other places that I would want to go as well, if only the bus could extend those routes. I could go to the sawgrass mall, broward mall, more book stores, better cafe’s. But the bus routes are too limited for a economical individual like me.

Who’s with me?
