Oaks At Pompano Apartments

This is the worst apartment to live in. the apartment I was at had mold and plus my kids kept having runny nose and I keep getting sick. We loss all of our furniture and we had to buy new ones. They was a point I could not get in the apartment because the smell was so bad. My husband and I had to get rid of some of our clothes and shoes. Plus the smell was so bad we had to leave some of our stuff in the apartment. They did not help us our. I do not recommend this place to live.

Don’t Live Here! ,They Try to Make problems when your lease is almost up just so they could keep your money. They Are Very Sneaky and unprofessional. They listen to false accusations & Run With It.

I do not recommended living here. They are highly unsecure and the owners and management team does not care about the resident. As a survivor of domestic assault after moving here attempting get away from my situation, I quickly learn that this is not the place to be. Moved in and their gate remained broken for months, went talked to Stephanie who is the on site manager however, only after sending an email to corporate was the gate fixed but it stays broken at least 4times a month for days. You will never see a security guard patrolling NEVER, the only time you see them is when they walk into the security house at the front gate, after that they are done for the night. They have no process when it comes to investigation when they get complaints, what they do is ask what apartments the person lives in then go solely off what the residents says. The hallway stays dirty because people continuously hides trash in the columns infront of our apartment. The trash compactor stays full and it’s at the beginning of the complex so when you have guests they see a hill of trash from Friday to Monday when they open. They do not answer phone they do not fix appliances. Don’t come here, I wish I could up load the photos of the hill of trash, guys sitting on the steps smoking.

Terrible! Don’t live here even if your life depended on it! No joke

My friend lived here and I always thought it was a cute little place. Fast forward 2 years. I am apartment shopping and I remember this place. They actually have an opening and the rent is below my budget. I read the reviews and was immediately afraid. I still submitted the application. All of the apartments are rented out, thus more than likely, you will not be able to view a floor plan in person. However, when I did view the floor plan and discussed my disappointment with the old appliances, the assistant manager willingly stated that she would ask for it to be replaced, and it was in 2-3 days! I was very impressed.
Pros: New appliances, location, better than my last apartment. I have been there for two weeks now and thankfully I have not encountered a roach, cockroach, or even an ant. Can pay rent online. Security at night. Professional landscaping.

Cons: The TENANTS are disgusting!! They are what is the problem over there. They litter, do not know how to use the trash compactor, and do not take pride in where they live. However, the maintenance guys come around and clean up after the tenants everyday (excluding weekends, I think). They really need to power spray the walls and stairs.

Overall, things have been going fair so far. Much better than the reviews I have read.
